A growing municipality is seeking an energetic and creative superintendent to serve its four utilities (Electric, Sewer, Water and Storm water) with huge growth potential. The Board is particularly interested in candidates with demonstrated managerial and organizational vision and substantial familiarity in business operations. Demonstrated expertise in financial/revenue management is to be considered a major factor in the selection process. Also, candidates must be intimately familiar with the management and control of regulatory processes. (MBA would be a big plus.) The goal is to lead toward optimizing revenues while controlling long term operating costs through applied technology. Candidates should also have experience in utility operations and management, as well as appropriate educational & professional credentials. After selection, the new superintendent will become an active ingredient in the management and future direction of the community.
