It is a grey metal fram with a black top. The top has a small scratch which will be covered up once you set your t.v. on top. The scratch looks like a crack in the pictures but is not. It will hold up to a 42 inch t.v.. I only used it for a month. I ended up getting a bigger t.v..I am located in Brazil, Indiana.
